Lucent Lightshop started in 2012. Owner Sarah Wolfe, worked for 14 years as a registered nurse, but developed a special side hobby of collecting vintage glass lamp shades. After coming across a vintage Mid-Century Modern sputnik, her wheels turned with inspiration to craft her own. She spent nearly a year searching for all the correct parts, perfecting finishes, and with the help of Bryan (who happens to be a licensed electrical contractor), they crafted her first light and a business was born.
Lucent Lightshop, ships nationwide to clients all over the country and has been featured on HGTV, Diy Network, The Travel Channel, Domino magazine, HGTV Magazine, and the Real Simple Home, just to name a few. Coming from a family of craftsman, with a carpenter father, and brother that’s a welder, it makes Sarah excited to know that Lucent Lightshop is providing jobs in the manufacturing industry, and strengthening the community by supporting tradesman.
Each of our handcrafted light fixtures are influenced by their midcentury modern roots, but they also offer classic design with a versatile twist. Our Lucent collection includes chandeliers, sconces, and pendants in our signature beautiful brass finishes, and we offer custom pieces as well. Keeping American craftsmanship alive is important to us, and when you purchase from our shop you know that your hand crafted, quality piece was made with care and with american sourced products.
